What tools do I need for installation?
You'll need a power drill with 10mm bit, spirit level, screwdriver, measuring tape, and pencil. All mounting hardware is included with your rangehood.
Can I install the rangehood myself?
Yes, most customers successfully complete DIY installation. However, electrical connections must be performed by a licensed electrician to comply with Australian standards.
What's the minimum clearance above my cooktop?
A minimum of 65cm clearance is required above gas cooktops. The optimal range is 65-75cm for best performance and safety.
Do I need ducting for installation?
The 120cm commercial model includes ducting. For 60cm and 90cm models, you may need to purchase 150mm ducting separately from hardware stores like Bunnings.
How long does installation take?
Most installations take 1-2 hours with a helper for wall-mounted models. Slide-out models are quicker at approximately 30-60 minutes.
